THE ROLE

Wip is looking for a Manager, Sales – Distributor Management to help build and strengthen our national distributor and wholesaler network — the backbone of how Wip reaches consumers everywhere. You’ll play a critical role in standing up new partners, turning them into high-performing engines of growth, and ensuring every relationship drives meaningful sales results. Reporting to the Director, Sales – Route to Market & Perfect Store, you’ll work closely with the SVP, Sales and cross-functional teams to expand Wip’s reach, accelerate distribution, and bring our “Perfect Store” standards to life across key markets. This is a hands‑on, relationship‑driven role for someone who knows the CPG landscape inside out and can turn strategy into action through great partnerships. Key Responsibilities Distributor & Wholesaler Management Identify, evaluate, and onboard new distributor and wholesaler partners across key regions. Serve as the day‑to‑day lead for assigned distributors, ensuring alignment, performance, and growth. Develop joint business plans, set volume targets, and manage ongoing performance tracking. Partner with internal teams to align on pricing, contracts, and trade spend execution. Drive distribution, velocity, and share gains through effective route‑to‑market strategies. Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure distributors are enabled to win. Analyze data to identify performance trends, growth opportunities, and gaps in coverage. Support execution of retail activation standards in partnership with the “Perfect Store” team. Relationship Building & Field Presence Build trusted, long‑term relationships with distributor leadership and sales teams. Act as Wip’s front‑line ambassador at distributor meetings, trade shows, and key market visits. Travel as needed to strengthen relationships and support field execution (approx. 50% to 60%). Reporting & Insights Track and report performance KPIs, promotions, and distribution goals. Maintain accurate partner data and activity in CRM and other internal tools. Provide insights and recommendations to leadership to improve execution and efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

7–10 years of progressive experience in CPG sales, distribution, or business development. Proven success managing distributor or wholesaler relationships (e.g., Coremark, McClane, or other national wholesalers). Experience with FMCG and beverage distribution management a plus. Strong commercial acumen with ability to translate strategy into action. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑management skills. Highly organized and self‑driven, with a bias for action and accountability. Experience working with distributors and customers to create win‑win scenarios for partnership. Strong collaboration and communication skills across teams and leadership levels. Ability to operate in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment with high standards and ambitious goals. Willingness to travel as needed (estimated 30–40%). Compensation: $100,000 to $125,000 annual salary plus performance‑based bonus, with consideration for the number of years of experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Wip
