We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a clinical imaging team. In this role, you will perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures to support accurate diagnosis and treatment across patients of all age groups. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, sound clinical judgment, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures as ordered by licensed physicians
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with safety protocols
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure accurate diagnostic results
• Monitor patients during procedures and ensure safety and comfort
• Evaluate images for quality and accuracy prior to submission for interpretation
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to support patient care
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records
• Demonstrate competency in nuclear medicine practices within the designated onboarding period
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Certification/education in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited program
• BLS certification from AHA required
• Prior clinical experience in nuclear medicine
• Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and imaging techniques
• Ability to work with patients across all age groups (neonatal to geriatric)
• Excellent attention to detail and clinical judgment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Important Details:

• 13-week contract position (extensions available)
• Shift is 8 hrs/day (7:00 AM-3:30 AM), 40 hrs/week
• Location is Tucson, AZ 85711
• Pay Range for Locals: $50 - $53 per hour
• Pay Range for Travelers: $2,300 - $2,340 per week
