About the Role:
We’re supporting a growing civil engineering firm in the Valley seeking a skilled Civil Designer to support land development, public works, and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on design, collaborating with engineers, and producing high-quality plans in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed civil design plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Support engineers on site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway design
- Assist with redlines, plan production, and construction documentation
- Coordinate with project managers, surveyors, and other technical staff
- Ensure design accuracy, compliance, and adherence to project standards
Qualifications:
- 2–5+ years of civil design experience (land development or public works)
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Knowledge of grading, earthwork, drainage, and utility design
- Ability to interpret engineering plans and specifications
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork skills
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
Preferred:
- Experience with commercial, residential, or municipal design
- Familiarity with hydrology/hydraulics or roadway design
- CAD certificate or related technical education
