Rodizio Grill, the nation's first authentic Brazilian steakhouse, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in the full-time capacity of Dishwasher. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the impeccable standard of cleanliness and efficiency that our guests expect from a premier dining experience. The Dishwasher position is integral to our kitchen's operation, contributing significantly to the overall guest satisfaction by ensuring all dishware and kitchen instruments are sanitized and prepared for use. This is a full-time role located at our bustling location and is not eligible for remote work.

The successful candidate will be expected to manage a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining cleanliness and order within the kitchen and dining areas. Providing support to our kitchen staff, the Dishwasher enhances our operational efficiency and upholds our commitment to health and safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, cookware, and kitchen equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and all BOH workspaces.
• Properly operate and maintain dish machines, including regular cleaning and troubleshooting.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables according to restaurant procedures and local regulations.
• Assist with basic food prep, kitchen cleaning tasks, or restocking as directed by kitchen leadership.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Communicate effectively with other staff and management to support a clean and safe environment.

Requirements

• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning.
• Ability to walk, stand, and lift heavy items for extended periods.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for restaurants.
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
• Excellent stamina and physical health.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and tolerate heat and humidity.
• Availability to work during weekends, evenings, and holidays is required.
