Position Overview

The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and other items from stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards. This role ensures efficient inventory control, organization, and support of production operations.

Type of Role: Temp-to-Hire

Location: Casa Grande, AZ

Shift / Hours

• Shift A: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday (OT as needed) — $20.00/hr
• Shift B: 6:00 PM – 4:30 AM, Monday–Friday (OT as needed) — $21.00/hr
• Shift C: Friday–Saturday 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Sunday–Monday 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM — $22.00/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and count stock items and record data manually or using a computer.
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in warehouses or storage yards.
• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, or supply areas.
• Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, or labeling equipment.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or handling equipment.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects and report damage to supervisors.
• Provide assistance or direction to other warehouse or storage workers.
• Schedule and prioritize multiple projects to meet production goals.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth operations and consistent output.
• Handle physical workload, maintain high attention to detail, and follow up on defective products.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or transcript (physical copy required).
• Must pass a 10-panel oral drug test (includes THC).
• Experience operating a high-reach forklift required.
• Ability to perform manufacturing tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Previous experience in a high-production environment preferred.
• Must have command of the English language (written and verbal).
• Must pass a comprehensive background check.
• Ability to stand, stoop, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform other physical activities throughout the workday.
