Cancellations Clerk
Position Overview
A well-established organization is seeking a detail-oriented Clerical / Mail Clerk professional to support high-volume administrative and customer service operations. This role blends transaction processing with front office and mailroom responsibilities, requiring accuracy, organization, and strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction & Clerical Support (Primary Focus)
- Process service-related transactions, including cancellations and transfers
- Prepare documentation and respond to customer, agent, and internal requests
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism
- Review information for accuracy and resolve routine issues
- Meet productivity, quality, and deadline expectations in a high-volume environment
Front Desk & Mailroom Support
- Provide reception coverage including greeting visitors and routing calls
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Prepare outgoing mail, courier shipments, and documentation
- Maintain organized reception and mailroom areas
- Assist with scanning, filing, data entry, and general office support
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of clerical, administrative, customer service, or office support experience
- Experience in high-volume processing, customer support, reception, or mailroom functions preferred
Skills & Experience
- Strong customer service mindset with professional communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and transactions
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to navigate multiple systems
- Comfortable interacting with internal teams and external customers
