BC forward is currently seeking a highly motivated Collection Specialist at Phoenix, AZ 85040

Job Title: Collection Specialist
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85040

Anticipated Start Date: 20th OCT

Pay: $19/hr. - $24/hr. (Based on Experience/Interview) + (bonus based on performance)

Reminder for the schedule.

Training (approx. 5 weeks):

In total, 5 weeks of training
The first 3 weeks of training: 6 AM - 3 PM MST (Monday–Friday)
2 weeks of Nesting 5 AM - 2 PM MST (Monday–Friday)

Night Post Training Shift Schedule:

Monday – Thursday: 11 am - 8 pm or 12 noon - 9 pm MST (hours differ based on daylight saving time)

Friday: 9 am - 6 pm or 10 am - 7 pm MST (hours differ based on daylight saving time)

Saturday: 7 am -11 am or 8 am-12 pm or MST (Rotation) and (hours differ based on daylight saving time)

Role Overview:
As a Collections Representative, you will play a key role in supporting our customers and maintaining account health by managing delinquent auto loan accounts. In this role, you will locate and notify customers of overdue payments, negotiate payment arrangements, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. This position requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

· Contact customers regarding delinquent auto loan accounts to arrange payments.

· Negotiate and establish payment plans in accordance with company policies and compliance standards.

· Maintain accurate records of all collection activities.

· Prepare statements and escalate to the credit department if payment is not received.

· Ensure compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)and all applicable local, state, and federal collection laws.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail.

· Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint) .

· Excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

· Solid mathematical skills, including ability to work with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

· Knowledge of FDCPA and related collection regulations.

Compensation & Benefits:

· Pay range: $19 – $24 per hour , depending on experience.

· Performance bonus opportunity, averaging $500 per month .
