Compensation
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,090–$2,140
- Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403 (Arizona healthcare jobs)
- Facility: Community hospital, Certified Chest Pain Center, Level III Trauma Center
- Unit: Cardiac Stepdown (IMC), 30 beds
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 2/2/2026 – End: 5/4/2026)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 36 hours/week
- Patient Ratio: 1:4 or 1:3
- Float Requirements: Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and ED holds (if up for admit)
- Electronic Health Record: Medhost
- Call Requirements: Yes
- Active RN license in Arizona (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Proven experience in cardiac stepdown, IMC, or similar clinical settings
- Ability to float to Medical Surgical and Telemetry units as needed
- Strong clinical skills in adult and geriatric patient care
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac and complex medical conditions (e.g., STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, CABG pod 2, Acute Respiratory Failure, Atrial Fibrillation with RVR, ALIF, EXLIF)
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress using Medhost EHR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Float to Medical Surgical and Telemetry units as required
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and Joint Commission standards
- Participate in call rotation as needed
