Data Analyst, Payment Transaction Monitoring

Job Summary

• Details: Hiring a Data Analyst as part of the End-to-End monitoring of Payment Transactions across US and International flows.
• Responsible for constructing an inventory of Payment Routes and documenting how correlation is effected across the various flows. Information will also be captured to help report Payment State for transactions moving across the end-to-end landscape of over 120 applications.

location: Chandler, Arizona job type: Contract salary: $50.54 - 60.54 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors Responsibilities • This individual will be responsible for driving collaboration across a global network of teams to capture and document payment states and correlation plans. Strong Data Analytic, networking and documentation skills are required. Experience with SQL is essential as is experience with big data tools such as Splunk. • Responsibilities:

• Building and Implementing Data Collection Plans with Application SMEs for Payment Transactions
• Building and Implementing Data Analytics for Transaction flows thru the life-cycle of a business service
• Documenting Business Transaction information including state transformation and correlation rules and interpreting business context from transaction state across the Application Topology of the Business Service.

Qualifications

• Interpret, cleanse, transform, interpret and render business value from the transaction state for technical and business audiences
• Drive collaboration with partner teams to understand and document all data transaction flows
• Develop correlation plans for transaction information logged in big data platforms
• Develop and implement data analysis strategies to identify trends and patterns.
• Plan reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings and partner with teams to deliver the visualizations on the big data platform as well as custom solutions for business users
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data flows.
• Experience in data analytics, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel is required

Skills

• Experience with big data tools such as Splunk, Data Dog or Elastic Search is needed and the aptitude and mindset to learn the Splunk tool is essential.
• Experience with Business Transaction Tracing or Mapping across a broad application landscape
• Positive Team Player with excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Critical thinker and excellent problem solving skills
• Experience with Banking and Global Payments is a significant benefit
• Experience with programming languages like Python or R
• Regex knowledge
• Knowledge of Data Visualization capabilities
