Occupational Therapist Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Location: Fort Mohave, Arizona 86426 (Arizona OT jobs)
• Facility Setting: Acute rehab and med/surg units (12 beds)
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 8-hour day shifts, rotating weekends
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2000–$2050
• Employment Type: Travel Occupational Therapist
• Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs
• EMR Systems: Medhost, Redoc/NetHealth

Occupational Therapist Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Arizona or eligibility to obtain (Arizona OT license required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred
• Experience in acute rehab and/or med/surg settings highly valued
• Ability to float between acute rehab and med/surg units as needed
• Strong communication and clinical teamwork skills
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)

Occupational Therapy Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients in acute rehab and med/surg units
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to maximize patient independence and functional outcomes
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records using Medhost and Redoc/NetHealth EMR systems
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals, exercises, and adaptive techniques
• Participate in weekend rotations as scheduled
• Comply with facility policies, procedures, and dress code requirements
