We are currently seeking an experienced Stainless Steel TIG Welder for a temporary 2-month project in Benson, Arizona . This position will involve welding primarily 16-inch stainless steel pipe using TIG welding techniques. The ideal candidate will have a passed 6G welding certification and demonstrated experience working with stainless steel in industrial or pipeline settings.
Location: Benson, AZ 85602
Position Type: Temporary
Project Duration: 2 Months
Pay Rate: $35.00/hr – $40.00/hr (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality TIG welds on 16" stainless steel pipe
- Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and welding symbols
- Maintain weld quality and adhere to project specifications
- Operate welding equipment safely and effectively
- Inspect completed welds for structural soundness and compliance
- Work as part of a team to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
- 6G Welding Certification (must be current and verifiable)
- Minimum 3 years of TIG welding experience on stainless steel pipe
- Proficient in welding 16” pipe to high-quality standards
- Ability to pass a weld test onsite
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and in varying conditions
