DIRECTOR - OPERATIONS

Valley Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Director of Operations !

J OB DESCRIPTION:

The Director of Operations will assist in the growth and development of Valley Hospital by evaluating the Facilities plans and efficiency and making the necessary recommendations to maximize staff productivity and achieve the company’s goals. This person will assist with strategic planning, support the CEO with operational initiatives to manage flow, performance improvement, daily operational changes, and plan, implement, & complete growth projects. This person will assist in managing day-to-day operations for the purchasing and IT departments and will have direct oversight of the purchasing and IT staff.

Schedule: Monday – Friday May have some limited weekend needs.

Education: Master's degree in business, marketing, social, behavioral or mental health services field from an accredited college or university required.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a program director or higher-level position. Experience with overseeing strategic planning, performance improvement initiatives, & supporting different teams of employees to find solutions and success in operational

Additional Requirements: Specialized training or certification in a therapeutic skill or treatment area that is utilized by the hospital is preferred. CPR certification and management of aggressive behavior (SAMA) training within 30 days of employment and prior to assisting in a restraining procedure. May be required to work flexible hours.
