**Job Title: Dispatch**
**Job Description**
Join our team as a Dispatch professional, where you will support the Service Manager in managing backflow-related services. As the primary liaison, you'll handle written, online, emailed, and telephone requests from customers, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery. You will play a crucial role in scheduling and tracking service requests, securing necessary permits, and collaborating with service department personnel to ensure timely completion of tasks. Your skills in managing records, both paper and computerized, will be instrumental in maintaining accurate documentation.
**Responsibilities**
+ Support the Service Manager in managing backflow-related services.
+ Serve as the primary liaison for customer requests via various communication channels.
+ Schedule and track service requests efficiently.
+ Secure appropriate permits for backflow services.
+ Accurately identify and procure parts from inventory/vendors.
+ Collaborate with service department personnel and technicians for timely service completion.
+ Update records accurately in both paper and computerized databases.
+ Manage filing and paper documentation.
+ Oversee maintenance and calibration of backflow testing equipment to ensure valid certifications.
+ Manage backflow technician certifications ensuring validity.
+ Assist in training department associates.
+ Initiate and manage backflow projects.
+ Occasionally deliver and pick up items as needed.
+ Dispatch field service technicians internally.
**Essential Skills**
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ 2+ years of experience in dispatch and/or scheduling.
+ Customer service experience.
+ Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Programs.
+ Strong time management and job prioritization skills.
+ Attention to detail.
+ Ability to handle challenging customer interactions with patience and empathy.
+ Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment using critical thinking and collaboration.
+ Moderate and occasional heavy lifting capability.
+ Clean driving record.
+ Availability to work Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with potential for paid overtime.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Some college education preferred.
+ Prior experience with backflow, landscaping, plumbing, or fire system service.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
