Our Phoenix client is seeking a dedicated Receiving Associate to join their operations team and help them maintain their high standards of efficiency and accuracy.

**Job Responsibilities:**

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips to ensure accuracy and quality

• Unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks

• Check materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report any issues to the supervisor immediately

• Accurately document all received items in the inventory management system

• Organize and store merchandise in designated warehouse locations following established protocols

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area in compliance with safety regulations

• Prepare received items for distribution to appropriate departments or storage areas

• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed

• Communicate effectively with vendors, delivery drivers, and team members regarding shipment status

• Process return merchandise and coordinate with suppliers when necessary

• Support other warehouse operations as needed during peak periods

**Skills Required:**

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Previous experience in receiving, warehousing, or logistics is a plus but not required

• Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift certification is a bonus)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping

• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management software

• Good organizational and time management abilities

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment

• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently when needed
