Job Responsibilities
As a caregiver, your responsibilities may include:- Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and light exercise.
- Meal Preparation: Shopping for groceries and preparing nutritious meals to support client health.
- Mobility Support: Helping clients stand, sit, and safely get in and out of vehicles.
- Health Supervision:
- Providing medication reminders and ensuring clients attend medical appointments.
- Following care plans and reporting any changes in health or behavior.
- Transportation: Assisting clients with errands and helping them stay connected to their community.
- Household Support: Performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up living spaces.
Job Requirements
To qualify for a caregiver position, you must:- Pass a criminal background check
- Pass a drug screening
- Have reliable transportation
