Business Analyst - Merchandising Systems
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Analyst - Merchandising Systems in Phoenix, Arizona (Hybrid - 3 days onsite). The duration of this role is a six-to-nine-month contract assignment to start. Summary: We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with experience supporting merchandising systems, retail systems or ecommerce systems. This role supports merchandising and retail applications ensuring accurate requirements gathering and translating into technical solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, document, and translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Support retail and merchandising applications, including item setup, pricing, inventory, and related systems
- Utilize ticketing systems like (ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, etc.) for issue tracking and analysis
- Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and business partners to resolve issues and deliver enhancements
- Participate in user acceptance testing, release validation, and process documentation
- Past experience in service desk, help desk, or system/network support roles
- Experience with ticketing systems and requirements gathering
- Background in retail or merchandising applications
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Experience with ecommerce platforms
- Experience supporting third-party integrated software
