Dispatch
Support the Service Manager in managing backflow-related services and serve as the primary liaison for customer requests. Responsibilities include scheduling and tracking service requests, securing permits, identifying and procuring parts, and collaborating with service personnel to ensure timely completion of tasks. Oversee maintenance and calibration of backflow testing equipment, manage technician certifications, and assist in training department associates.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary contact for written, online, emailed, and telephone customer requests.
- Schedule and track service requests, ensuring timely completion.
- Secure appropriate permits for backflow services.
- Look up, identify, and procure parts from inventory/vendors accurately.
- Collaborate with service department personnel and technicians.
- Update records with accurate entries in paper and computerized databases.
- Handle filing and paper management.
- Oversee maintenance and calibration of backflow testing equipment.
- Manage certifications for backflow technicians.
- Assist in training other department associates.
- Initiate and manage backflow projects.
- Occasionally deliver and pick up supplies.
- Internally dispatch field service technicians.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of experience in dispatch and scheduling.
- Customer service experience with the ability to handle challenging interactions.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Programs.
- Strong time management and job prioritization skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment using critical thinking and teamwork.
- Clean driving record.
- Some college education preferred.
- Experience with backflow, landscaping, plumbing, or fire system service is a plus.
- Moderate to occasional heavy lifting.
- Available to work Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with potential for paid overtime.

Work EnvironmentWork in a well-established company, Arizona’s oldest backflow prevention service company, with over 35 years of growth and success. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with the possibility of paid overtime as needed.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
