LMS Administrator – Enterprise LMS 2.0

The Enterprise LMS is a core learning system used by hundreds of thousands of learners worldwide to develop skills and effectively use enterprise technology. The LMS Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’s Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure a smooth, reliable, and effective learning experience for all users.

In this role, you will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Enterprise LMS, overseeing user access, reporting, and system configuration. You will support instructors and learners with technical issues and collaborate closely with internal partners across content development, training, and IT teams to improve data accuracy and learning outcomes.

Key Outcomes

• Perform day-to-day operational tasks within the Enterprise LMS, including report generation, user updates, and onboarding new internal users or contributors
• Act as the primary subject matter expert for the Enterprise LMS, answering questions related to system capabilities, best practices, and current or future features
• Serve as the final escalation point for complex issues, making informed decisions around access requests, data changes, business requirements, and optimal user experiences
• Interpret engineering logs, troubleshoot and debug learner issues, and document findings for technical teams to resolve
• Help prioritize feature requests by synthesizing learner feedback from multiple communication channels

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience administering a Learning Management System (LMS) or similar enterprise SaaS platform
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with shifting priorities
• Strong technical aptitude, including understanding system architecture, configurations, permissions, and data flows
• Experience partnering with engineering or technical teams to troubleshoot issues and translate business needs into technical requirements
• Proven ability to independently investigate, diagnose, and resolve platform issues prior to escalation

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting customer-facing or externally accessible LMS environments
• Familiarity with APIs, SSO, automation, or system integrations
• Experience in training operations, product enablement, or education technology
• Experience working in regulated or security-conscious environments

This is a Contract position based out of Scottsdale, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
