RN - Circulator OR

Job Details:

• Work 4-10 hour shifts per week from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• 2-3 late shift requirements from 5:15 PM to 7:00 PM per month
• On-call required approximately 1 shift per week and 1 weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday) per month
• Act as Lead or Charge Nurse during call and weekend shifts
• Work independently during on-call shifts
• Responsible for coordinating patient transfers, pre-op workup, intra-op circulation, and secondary PACU nursing
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR circulator experience (within past 6 months) required
• Associate Degree in Nursing required
• Must maintain 1:1 nurse to patient ratio
• Circulate for procedures including General, Ortho, Neuro, Podiatry, GYN, Thoracic, Endocrine, Endoscopy, and Cystoscopy
• Work with Pyxis medication system, Meditech charting system, and various surgical equipment
• Current Arizona RN license or compact state license required
• BLS and ACLS (AHA) certification required
• Basic EKG competency required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Surgical scrubs provided, must wear closed-toe shoes
• Complete 1 day hospital orientation and 1-3 OR training shifts
