Cath Lab Tech - Travel Job

Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardio-Vascular Radiologic Technologist) and support physicians and cath lab personnel in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. Operate advanced imaging equipment and assist with patient monitoring, sterile technique, and procedural support in a hospital setting.

What You'll Need:

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist. ARRT credential is required.
• Must have Cath Lab experience. Candidate must have experience scrubbing and monitoring cath lab procedures including angiogram and PCI.
• Experience with complex cases preferred, including CTO, left main, PFO, device implants, pulmonary embolism thrombectomy, peripheral and IR cases.
• STEMI coverage experience required.
• Experience with mechanical circulatory support devices expected, such as Impella and IABP.
• Experience monitoring/recording on MacLab preferred; willingness to train on MacLab acceptable.
• Knowledge of cath lab products and ability to restock rooms.
• BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
• Cerner EMR experience preferred.
• Structural heart experience preferred but not required.
• State specific licensing when required.
• RCIS certification will not be accepted in lieu of ARRT.

Minimum Requirements / Client Specific Requirements:

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist required.
• Proven Cath Lab experience with at least 2 years in a hospital cath lab setting preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to scrub and monitor invasive cardiac procedures.
• STEMI coverage experience required.
• Experience with Impella and IABP expected.
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
• Willingness to work with Cerner EMR.
• Ability to restock rooms and maintain knowledge of cath lab products.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Details: Days 0600-1630.
• Schedule Pattern: 4/10s (ten-hour day schedule).
• On Call: Approximately 9–10 shifts per month and one weekend on call.
• Duration: 13 weeks.
• Start: ASAP.
