Position Summary
We are looking for a skilled and safety-driven Arborist / Tree Climber to join our Tree Care Division. In this role, you will work hands-on in climbing, pruning, removals and tree health care — combining technical tree work with proactive landscape care. You’ll play a key role in protecting tree health, safety and the visual excellence of the landscapes we manage.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform tree pruning, removals and structural maintenance using safe climbing and rigging techniques.

• Evaluate tree health: identify pests, diseases or nutrient issues and recommend appropriate plant health care treatments.

• Administer plant health care applications such as trunk injections, soil amendments, spray treatments and fertilization.

• Operate and maintain chainsaws, chippers and other tree-care equipment safely and efficiently.

• Execute safe rigging, lowering and removal operations in varied settings.

• When applicable, assist in training or mentoring crew members to uphold our high standards.

• Work collaboratively with your supervisor, field staff and clients to plan and deliver safe, efficient, high-quality job execution.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Minimum of 5 + years of professional arborist or climbing experience.

• Strong knowledge of proper pruning, rigging and removal techniques.

• Comfort and familiarity with plant health care practices, including pest/disease diagnosis and treatment options.

• Experience using power tools and tree-care equipment in the field.

• Ability to work safely at heights and in all weather conditions.

• Physically fit: able to lift 50 + lbs and perform strenuous outdoor work.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

• Preferred : ISA Certified Arborist, Certified Tree Worker or Plant Health Care Technician certification.

• Preferred : Experience with pesticide or chemical applications and a license (or ability to obtain one) in Colorado.
