Depending on the department, patient populations may include post-operative orthopedic patients, individuals recovering from injury or trauma, neurologic conditions, and those with chronic musculoskeletal issues.Your typical day will involve managing a varied caseload, collaborating closely with physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team, and coordinating safe, timely discharges or transitions of care. Patient volume and scheduling are structured to support thorough, high-quality treatment while maintaining efficient flow.
