Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Physical Therapist position is available in Wellton, AZ, supporting school-based therapy services from August 2026 through May 2027. This onsite role requires 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM, with a caseload anticipated to be between 26 and 27 students. Responsibilities will focus on delivering physical therapy interventions to students in a school setting, with grade levels and specific caseload details to be determined.
Key Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid Arizona Physical Therapy license
- IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Experience in school-based physical therapy preferred
- Ability to work full-time onsite from Monday to Friday
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educational staff
Location:
- Wellton, Arizona onsite only
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to students to improve their functional mobility and participation in school activities
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create and implement individualized treatment plans
- Document therapy services and progress in accordance with school policies and state regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of school-based intervention plans
