Field Marketing Coordinator
This role is an in person role based out of our Scottsdale, AZ office. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following but other duties may be assigned ):
- Plan, organize, and execute a variety of events. (i.e. trade shows, social events, etc.)
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and requirements.
- Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and venues to ensure all event logistics are managed effectively.
- Oversee event setup, execution, and teardown, ensuring all aspects run smoothly.
- Manage event staff and volunteers, providing clear instructions and support.
- Handle any issues or emergencies that arise during events, ensuring a positive experience for attendees.
- Evaluate event success and gather feedback to improve future events.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance event quality.
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or in a similar role.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring everyone is aligned with event goals.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in planning and executing events, ensuring no detail is overlooked.
- Time Management: Efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best terms.
- Customer Focus: Dedicated to understanding and meeting the needs of clients and attendees.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and handle unexpected challenges with ease.
- Financial Acumen: Skilled in budgeting and financial management to ensure events are cost-effective.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
