About the Role

Our client is seeking a Systems Engineer with advanced expertise in avionics, payload systems, motor controls, and solid-state recorders to lead technical projects from design through installation and support. This role requires experience in engineering design, system integration, technical sales support, and post-sale product configuration. The Systems Engineer will leverage hands-on experience with integrated avionics and complex aerospace systems to deliver solutions that meet customer specifications and performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering and technical operations, including research and development initiatives to enhance products and services
• Lead design, construction, testing, and operation of avionics systems, payload interfaces, motor control modules, and solid-state recorders
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to guide system integration and configuration
• Estimate costs, resources, timelines, and technical requirements for product modifications, configurations, and installations
• Develop and implement custom solutions to meet customer technical specifications
• Conduct fault diagnosis, troubleshoot complex aerospace systems, and oversee repair and maintenance activities by engineering technicians
• Provide technical user training, briefings, and support to customers during installation and product deployment
• Ensure production processes meet quality, safety, reliability, performance, and timeliness standards
• Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and project teams to resolve technical challenges and optimize system performance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field; advanced knowledge in avionics, systems integration, or aerospace electronics
• Extensive experience with integrated avionics, payload systems, motor controls, and solid-state recording devices
• Proven ability to perform research, design, and testing in laboratory and field environments
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address undefined or complex engineering challenges
• Experience leading technical project implementations, post-sale system configuration, and custom solution development
• Ability to work independently and provide guidance to junior engineers and technicians
• Proficiency interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and system specifications

Additional Skills

• Experience supporting technical sales through briefings, specification reviews, and customer consultation
• Hands-on experience with system-level integration, testing, and troubleshooting of aerospace electronics
• Ability to coach and mentor lower-level engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing
