The Customer Experience (Marketing) team works to showcase our brand through the lens of expertise and love. They work to provide a personalized experience for our consumers backed by best-in-class, data-driven marketing capabilities. The Customer Experience team focuses across 4 departments including, Marketing, Creative, Communications, and our Loyalty & CRM team. Everyone brings their own point of view to create a unique experience for the pets and pet parents.

About the Location

This role is based at PetSmart’s Phoenix Home Office, where associates currently enjoy the benefits of in-person collaboration while having the flexibility to work remotely one day per week (a “flex workday” with leader approval), and an expected four days in the office. About the Job

PetSmart is seeking a strategic Brank Marketing Manager to support the development , execution, and production of high-impact, integrated marketing campaigns and in-store experiences . This role sits within our Integrated Marketing team and plays a pivotal part in helping PetSmart connect deeply with pet parents and strengthen our brand affinity .

We’re looking for a proactive , creative and solutions-oriented marketer who can take campaigns and in-store activations from idea to execution—crafting the vision, setting the strategy, driving execution across multiple channels, scaling content production to maximize our impact , and ultimately delivering measurable business results that deepen engagement with the PetSmart community.

You should have a n analytical, customer-first mindset paired with a passion for continuous improvement , thoughtful attention to detail and a collaborative spirit . The right candidate will be curious about how things work and enjoy finding creative ways to solve challenges and bring marketing efforts to life. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and production and is looking to develop their skills .

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full funnel m arketing c ampaigns from planning stages to insight to execution—including strateg ic development, brief writing, production oversight, go-to-market execution, and post-campaign recaps
  • Partner with our operations and creative teams to m anage the full lifecycle of an in-store activation for select brand-led events, including creative development , production management, and timely delivery of event materials that uphold brand standards
  • Closely collaborate with internal stakeholders , channel partners and outside agencies to translate business needs into campaign s that achieve enterprise-wide strategic goals
  • Drive work forward through a fast-paced, matrixed organization –navigating roadblocks, ambiguity and market challenges to hit key milestones and metrics
  • Translate data and market research into key insights that drive decision-making
  • Own your campaign & its milestones; lead development of campaign-related presentations and reporting for internal leadership and key partners throughout the process
  • Attend shoots and events as needed; some travel may be required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 3-5 years in marketing, advertising, communications, or content production
  • Retail experience strongly preferred , either in-house or agency side
  • Experience navigating matrixed organizations strongly preferred
  • Experience leading integrate d campaigns across multiple channels (paid media, digital, social, content, etc.) , with a s trong grasp of the creative production process, including events and event promo tion
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities on varied timelines
  • Proven relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect, inspire, and rally cross-functional partners toward shared goals
  • Strong communication , storytelling, and presentation skills
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data, test hypotheses, and optimize campaign strategies with some experience interpreting data
  • Strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and a growth mindset—comfortable with ambiguity and motivated by challenges
  • Experience partnering with external agencies and creative vendors
  • Passion for pets and the people who love them is a big plus!
