Labcorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their Specimen Management team in Phoenix, AZ.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm. Be flexible start 7-8am, with flexibility required between 7:00am and 8:00am. Over time required as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Act a liaison between the lab, clients, and patients.
• Resolve internal & external customer requests via calls, instant messenger & email communications
• Communicates with customers in respectful and professional manner.
• Work in multiple databases to research complex issues and questions.
• Provide customer education and information as needed.
• Review test forms for accuracy and report any discrepancies.
• Prepare and triage specimens for analysis.
• Accurately identify and label specimens.
• Pack and ship specimens as necessary.
• Prepare and store excess specimen samples.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
• Comfortable handling biological specimens
• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• Experience working in a team environment
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• High level of attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Office
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blind test

Preferred Experience:

• Prior medical/clinical lab

• Customer Service
