This role is for the 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM shift and is fully on-site at our Tempe Town Lake headquarters.

Position Overview:
This is an individual contributor position in Reconditioning Centralized Planning responsible for implementing, monitoring, and resolving reconditioning vehicle workflow at Carvana IRCs.

What you'll be doing

• Schedule same day vehicle reconditioning by zone to maximize cost, quality, and throughput at Carvana Inspection Centers (IRCs)
• Make real-time changes to daily vehicle reconditioning completion plan in order to ensure completion of daily production targets
• Work closely with on-the-ground operators at IRCs across the country to identify and resolve vehicle work content issues as they arise
• Identify opportunities in the reconditioning process and make recommendations to improve IRC vehicle reconditioning flow
• Discover, understand, resolve, and prevent bottlenecks at the IRC
• Provide recommendations that help optimize execution of recon vehicles at IRCs
• Consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion consistent with strategic goals.
• Timely communication of information affecting the IRCs reconditioning plan and coordinate resolutions with reconditioning leadership

What the Job Requires
To be able to do your job at Carvana, there are some basic requirements we want to share with you.

• Bachelor's degree, or 4 years equivalent experience, in quantitative discipline such as supply chain, engineering, operations or STEM.
• Expert knowledge of Excel and/or GoogleSheets.
• Experience with scheduling software, production flows, and manufacturing
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both written and oral.
• Ability to communicate and interact with others effectively in a professional, courteous manner.
• Ability to maintain high volume and high-quality content in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to resolve complex issues.
• Ability to work in an office environment, with extensive use of computers.
• Ability to work variable schedule(s) as necessary.
