VP, Land Strategy and Acquisition

The VP of Land Strategy and Acquisition will partner with the Divisions in leveraging their corporate capital allocations by sourcing land deals that align with the company land light strategy. This role will lead the way in seeking out deal structure alternatives such as developed lot deals with 3rd parties, land banking opportunities, and potential joint ventures with capital partners. The deal structures will permit the Division to take on additional communities while still being within their capital allocation allowing them to maximize profitability along with their return on investment. Overall objective is ensuring Division’s are growing their land pipeline by sourcing deals while leveraging their allocated capital with land light partners to minimize risk while maximizing returns and profitability.

Requirements include at least 10 years of experience in for-sale residential real estate, with experience as a department head in land acquisition. A bachelor’s degree is required. Must be analytical with excellent communication skills, effective negotiating and listening skills. Successful candidate must maintain a valid driver’s license.
