As a skilled database and data entry enthusiast, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping a workforce dedicated to providing exceptional care and support.
Job Responsibilities:
Embark on a Recruitment Journey:
- Craft a tapestry of talent by employing various recruitment strategies like job boards, social media, and community outreach to connect with potential DSPs who share our passion.
- Dive into interviews and assessments, exploring candidates' qualifications, skills, and alignment with our mission and values.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and co-create effective recruitment strategies.
Weaving Dreams with Screening and Selection:
- Conduct thorough background checks, reference verifications, and other screenings to ensure our candidates meet the highest standards.
- Assess candidates' cultural competency, empathy, and dedication to providing person-centered care.
- Let your voice be heard in the hiring team discussions, helping shape the future of our extraordinary team.
Guiding Stars through Onboarding and Training:
- Be the beacon of support for newly hired DSPs, guiding them through a seamless onboarding process and ensuring a confident start.
- Design and deliver orientation programs and training sessions that weave new hires into our organizational tapestry.
- Offer ongoing support and mentorship during their initial period of employment.
Crafting a Tapestry of Connection with Database Mastery:
- Skillfully maintain a comprehensive and organized database of our DSPs, reflecting their personal journeys, qualifications, certifications, and achievements.
- Regularly update and verify the accuracy of this living tapestry, ensuring it complies with state mandates and tells the story of excellence.
Building Bridges with Community Engagement:
- Act as a bridge between our organization and the special needs community, attending events and building relationships with local organizations.
- Collaborate with community partners to share our job opportunities and extend our invitation to candidates from diverse backgrounds.
Requirements:
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
- Experience or knowledge in working with the special needs community, understanding disabilities, person-centered care principles, and related regulations.
- A heart that resonates with strong interpersonal and communication skills to build bridges with candidates, staff, and community partners.
- Organizational skills that bring attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks, creating a symphony of efficiency.
- An overflow of empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to support individuals with diverse abilities.
- A sprinkling of basic knowledge in recruitment and onboarding processes is an asset.
- Independence that harmonizes with effective collaboration within a team.
- Proficiency in using the magic of recruitment software and online platforms.
- A diploma in high school education or its equivalent; bonus points for additional relevant certifications or coursework.
- Ability to shine in the office from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, creating a daily melody of dedication.
