Pharmacist in Charge
Location: Phoenix, AZ and surrounding areas
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Start Date: Targeting April 2026
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead a high-volume retail pharmacy in the Phoenix area. This role is ideal for a self-sufficient, solutions-oriented pharmacist with strong leadership and retail operations experience. The PIC will oversee daily pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Pharmacist in Charge, ensuring compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Oversee daily retail pharmacy operations in a high-volume environment
- Lead, mentor, and manage pharmacy staff
- Act as a problem solver for operational, workflow, and staffing challenges
- Ensure safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing practices
- Maintain strong operational standards and accountability
- Collaborate with leadership to drive performance and quality outcomes
- Active Registered Pharmacist license (Arizona)
- Retail pharmacy experience required
- Prior managerial or leadership experience
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced retail environment
- Registered Pharmacist acceptable/ PharmD preferred
- Knowledge of 340B programs
- Experience managing high prescription volume
- Base salary: $140,000
