What we are looking for:

• Current licensure as a physical therapist (PT) in the state of Arizona (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience in a school setting or a strong interest in pediatric therapy preferred
• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for students
• Exceptional communication skills for interactions with students, staff, and parents
• Organizational skills to efficiently manage caseloads and maintain accurate records
• Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams

Primary responsibilities:

• Assess students’ physical abilities and plan appropriate therapies and interventions
• Deliver direct and consultative PT services in accordance with individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Document progress and maintain up-to-date records as required by school policies
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to promote student success
• Educate staff and families on techniques that support student mobility and participation
