As a **Security Guard - Government Building Patrols** in **Phoenix, AZ** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a valued member of Allied Universal, you will patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing exceptional customer service. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs as they arise.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
+ Maintain clear and professional communication with staff, visitors, and/or the public while on patrol.
+ Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal protocols and site requirements.
+ Assist with access control by observing entry and exit points during patrols, reporting any suspicious activity or security-related issues.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ A guard card or license is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
