This position requires a highly self-motivated individual capable of performing in multiple roles with minimal supervision. The Housekeeping Coordinator is responsible for opening the department five days a week, organizing daily operations, and serving as the central point of communication for the housekeeping team.

• Prepare and distribute daily room assignments for Room Attendants.

• Serve as the department’s communication hub: answer calls, dispatch information using Synergy and other communication tools, and log all incoming calls (including date, request details, and assignment status).

• Ensure all guest and internal requests are fulfilled within 15 minutes by actively following up on outstanding tasks.

• Generate and review daily operational reports: CRM, VIP, Pre-Assign, Trace, Guest Arrival, Pre-order, RU, and VD.

• Track and log all guest dry cleaning and team member uniform activity daily.

• Maintain accurate and organized uniform records; remove files for terminated team members and forward to HR.

• Process team member uniforms as needed—wash, dry, and hang garments appropriately.

• Perform basic uniform repairs, such as sewing on buttons or simple mending.

• Run afternoon housekeeping reports after checkout time (12:00 PM), including Due Outs, Pending Rooms, Discrepancies, Early Departures/Extended Stayovers, and VIP status.

• Keep the department’s information board current with daily activity updates, SALT scores, TripAdvisor feedback, Guest of the Day, and staff notes.

• Input and post White Glove inspection scores.

• Prepare all paperwork required for the next day’s shifts, including documents for Room Attendants, Public Area Attendants, and Housemen.

• Monitor occupancy and staffing levels daily to recommend schedule adjustments as needed.

• Assemble guest room collateral items such as toilet paper wraps, Forbes cards, and folded laundry bags.

• Maintain a clean, organized office and ensure operational forms and supplies are stocked.

• Assist with special projects and initiatives assigned by the Director of Housekeeping or leadership team.
