Assistant Operations Manager
As an Assistant Operations Manager , you’ll be at the forefront of our Fulfillment Center, leading teams and driving operational excellence. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in developing team leads and front-line employees, ensuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are consistently met, and fostering a high-performance, safety-first culture. You'll be essential as you oversee daily operations, implement process improvements, and deliver outstanding customer and employee experiences.

Responsibilities and Duties Operational Execution & Performance- Drive daily operations to meet or exceed KPIs, including volume, on-time shipments, quality, and productivity targets
- Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently achieved through effective planning and execution
- Monitor workflow, identify gaps, and take proactive action to maintain operational efficiency
- Lead, coach, and develop Team Leads and front-line employees, building a strong leadership pipeline
- Foster a positive, feedback-driven culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning
- Support recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding efforts to build and retain high-performing teams
- Champion a safety-first culture by enforcing company policies and promoting safe work practices
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Proactively identify and mitigate workplace risks
- Drive initiatives that improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance
- Implement and standardize processes across shifts to increase efficiency and consistency
- Partner cross-functionally with teams such as Inventory Control, HR, and Engineering to solve problems and enhance operations
- Consistently meeting or exceeding KPIs across safety, quality, and delivery
- Building a strong, engaged team with clear development progression
- Identifying and implementing measurable process improvements within the first 6–12 months
- 3+ years of experience in Distribution Center leadership or operations management
- Proven ability to lead and develop front-line teams in a fast-paced environment
- Data-driven mindset with experience using metrics to drive performance improvements
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and quality initiatives
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office tools
- Flexibility to support multiple shifts, including evenings, weekends, and peak periods

Compensation
This is an exempt salaried role with a base salary of $70,000–$80,000 , and a total compensation opportunity of $75,400–$85,400 annually .
