Job Summary:
The Elevator Maintenance Inspector is responsible for conducting monthly inspections for elevators and dumbwaiters. The role ensures all equipment operates safely and efficiently while adhering to relevant safety codes, standards, and manufacturers' specifications. This position requires residency in the state of Arizona.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform monthly checks on elevator systems.
Provide detailed reports of inspections.
Maintain logs and documentation for all activities.
Respond to emergency service requests as required.
Qualifications:
Must be a resident of the state of Arizona.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in elevator maintenance and inspection.
Certification or training in elevator safety and maintenance (e.g., ASME A17.1, A17.2 standards).
Strong knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems related to elevators.
Familiarity with safety regulations, including ANSI/NFPA 70 National Electrical Code.
Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Skills and Abilities:
Attention to detail with a commitment to safety and compliance.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and reports.
Good communication skills for reporting and coordination.
Preferred Qualifications:
Manufacturer-specific training for elevator systems.
Prior experience in a healthcare or high-security facility.
