FP&A Analyst
- Lead site FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling for the local site.
- Partner closely with site operations to provide real-time financial insights and support daily decision-making.
- Act as a financial advisor to operational leaders, not just a provider of reports.
- Prepare and present financial results and recommendations to leadership.
- Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, inventory analysis and reporting packages.
- Utilize SAP and Empower MX (business system) to extract, analyze, and report financial and operational data.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business cases and investment decisions.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and data integrity.
- Ensure the Group procedures are applied on site
- Local Finance contact working closely with MRO Finance team
- Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance and oversight as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, ideally in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with operations teams on a daily basis.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and ERP systems
- Not a “desk-only” analyst—must be proactive, visible, and engaged with the business.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Solid understanding of financial statements.
- Experience in mentoring other finance team members.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an asset.
- This is a full-time, on-site position based in Tucson, AZ.
- The role requires close collaboration with operations and other site-based functions.
- The analyst will be expected to operate autonomously and take initiative without daily oversight.
