Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintain a Safe Environment: Monitor the premises to prevent any potential security breaches, disturbances, or illegal activities.
• Conduct routine patrols to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to any incidents or emergencies that may arise:Enforce venue policies and procedures to maintain order and a safe environment.
• ID Verification and Access Control: Verify the age and identification of guests to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
• Control access to the nightclub by checking tickets, monitoring guest lists, and handling crowd control effectively.
• Detect and handle counterfeit identification or fraudulent activity.
• Crowd Management: Monitor crowd behavior and identify potentially disruptive or aggressive individuals.
• Use appropriate conflict resolution techniques to defuse tense situations and maintain a positive environment.
• Manage lines and queues efficiently, ensuring smooth entry and exit of guests.
• Customer Service and Assistance: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with inquiries, directions, and general information.
• Address guest concerns and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assist with any first aid or medical situations, coordinating with medical personnel if necessary.
• Work closely with the management team, fellow security staff, and other venue personnel to maintain effective communication and coordination.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required, providing accurate information and assistance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and carry out patrols for extended periods.
• Knowledge of local laws, regulations, and best practices pertaining to nightclub security.
• Basic first aid and CPR certification is an advantage.
• Professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evening, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant POS – Aloha, Hot Schedule, Paylocity

Education and Experience:

• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• Prior experience in nightclub security or a similar role is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Capable of standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying trays, and performing tasks that involve bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds.
