As an **Assembly Mechanic - Level 2** here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in assembling and maintaining high-quality aerospace products. Your expertise in mechanical assembly will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of safety and performance, contributing to the success of our aerospace operations.
You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of our assembly processes, ensuring that we deliver top-notch products to our customers while adhering to strict timelines and quality standards.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Assemble mechanical components and systems according to engineering specifications and quality standards.
+ Conduct inspections and tests on assembled products to ensure compliance with safety and performance requirements.
+ Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.

**FAA REQUIREMENTS**
All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). **YOU MUST HAVE**
+ 3+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or related field.
+ Strong knowledge of assembly processes and mechanical systems.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks.
+ Experience with quality control processes and standards in aerospace manufacturing.
+ Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
