Bartender
- Inspect the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available.
- Request additional supplies as necessary.
- Follow standard operating procedures for opening and closing duties.
- Prepare garnishes, mix drinks, and prepare pre-mixed beverages.
- Greet members and guests warmly and professionally.
- Mix, prepare, and serve drinks according to approved recipes, maintaining consistency in quality.
- Collect checks/payments for drinks served.
- Promptly report any guest complaints to a manager.
- Maintain and clean the bar area and equipment, ensuring a safe and organized workspace.
- Keep records of liquors, beers, wine, and sundries to ensure par stock is maintained.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork skills and maintain a positive and enthusiastic commitment to hospitality.
- Attend staff meetings as required.
- Maintain knowledge of wines and liquors in the club's inventory.
- Consistently comply with all state, local, and club laws/policies related to the service of alcohol.
- Good working knowledge of wine and spirits
- Prior bartending experience in an upscale atmosphere is preferred
- Prior experience in a country club setting is a plus.
