We are seeking a Front Office Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Our ideal candidate will handle all areas of front office in a pain management setting and will be checking in patients, checking out patients, answering multiple line phone, handling patient payments, scheduling appointments, communicating with primary care offices, radiology facilities and insurance companies.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Obtain patients vitals
- Assist with urine samples and sending to appropriate lab
- Prep exam rooms for office visits and procedures
- phlebotomy and IV access for procedures and testing
- Experience working with PRP, regenerative medicine
- Experience with understanding EMG testing
- ability to work at remote location in Sedona on occaision
- Reliable transportation
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
- Familiarity with medical billing procedures
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
