Position Summary:

The focus of the Shipping/Receiving Quality Inspector is to verify the order labels, verify and confirm the product count per load.

Position Description:

Shipping · Verify all products are labeled correctly. · Ensure the correct load number staged is on the correct load number shipping. · Check-in returns from customer. · Verify the product being shipped is not damaged. Receiving · Verify incoming product (Raw/ Finished goods) is damage free and part number corresponds with receiving documents. · Open buns and document measurements. · Performs all duties according to established safety, quality, and efficiency procedures; and maintains workstation in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. · Follow all safety policies, protocols, and procedures. · Communicates with operators as well as management to correct any issues. · Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

· Attention to Detail · 2+ years’ experience in quality control preferred. · Proficiency in using a tape measure in standard and metric units. · Basic English reading/writing skills required. · Work experience within a manufacturing environment preferred. · Willing to work overtime, longer days, and some weekends as needed. · Ability to follow directions and work well in a team. · Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. multiple times per day (heavy loads must be team lifted) · Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.

· Ability to adapt to and work in a fast-paced environment. · Willingness to help in other areas. · Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), preferred.

Education Experience/Certifications:

· Education: High School Diploma, GED, or work experience · Years of Experience: 2 years, preferred.

· Languages Spoken: Read, write, and communicate in English.
