Overview

Siteworx, the general contracting division of Russo Modular, is seeking an experienced Onsite Construction Supervisor / Senior Project Manager to lead the development of our new manufacturing campus in Prescott, Arizona and become a key member of our long-term construction leadership team. This position is not remote or work from home.


This is a unique opportunity to oversee a high-profile ground-up development project and transition into a senior project management role supporting future Siteworx and Russo Modular construction projects throughout the Southwest.

Initial Project Assignment

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and managing the construction of Russo Modular's new Prescott production facility, including:

  • Development of approximately 6 acres of site improvements
  • Coordination and installation of all site utilities
  • Earthwork, grading, drainage, and civil infrastructure
  • Placement of a 2,000-square-foot modular office building
  • Erection of a pre-engineered metal manufacturing building
  • Construction of conventional stick-built infill areas including restrooms, locker rooms, and employee break facilities
  • Coordination with architects, engineers, utility providers, consultants, inspectors, and subcontractors
    Management of project schedules, budgets, quality control, and safety programs

Long-Term Career Opportunity

Upon completion of the Prescott facility, this position will transition into a senior project management role overseeing commercial, industrial, modular, manufacturing, and development projects for Siteworx and affiliated Russo companies throughout Arizona.

Primary Responsibilities

Project Leadership

  • Lead projects from preconstruction through final completion and owner turnover
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and milestone tracking
  • Coordinate all phases of construction including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining schedule and budget objectives
  • Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions

Estimating & Preconstruction

  • Prepare conceptual and detailed cost estimates
  • Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier proposals
  • Develop project budgets and value engineering recommendations
  • Review plans, specifications, contracts, and bid documents
  • Participate in project planning, constructability reviews, and scope development

Field Operations

  • Supervise subcontractors and self-performed work
  • Coordinate daily construction activities and site logistics
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards
  • Monitor productivity, manpower utilization, and material procurement
  • Conduct regular project meetings and maintain progress reporting

Financial Management

  • Track project costs and forecast financial performance
  • Review and approve subcontractor invoices and pay applications
  • Manage change orders, RFIs, and project documentation
  • Maintain accurate budget reporting and job cost controls
  • Assist in contract administration and project closeout

Client & Team Management

  • Serve as primary point of contact for owners, consultants, and project stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors
  • Coordinate internal resources and project teams
  • Mentor field personnel and assist with development of construction processes and standards

Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements
  • Ensure projects comply with all applicable codes and regulations
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning activities
  • Maintain project documentation and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

Required

  • 10+ years of commercial construction experience
  • Proven experience managing ground-up construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of site development, underground utilities, earthwork, grading, concrete, structural steel, metal buildings, and commercial building systems
  • Experience with project estimating and bidding
  • Experience managing subcontractors and construction schedules
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and project management software
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred

  • General contractor, industrial, manufacturing, or development project experience
  • Experience with commercial site development projects exceeding $5 million
  • Experience with design-build delivery methods
  • Knowledge of modular construction
  • Experience with SiteDocs, Microsoft Project, Procore, AIA forms and/or similar platforms
