Payroll Analyst, Accounting Automation

Job Title: Payroll Analyst

Overview:
This role is part of the Payroll Automation Team within the Finance Division and focuses on gathering business requirements, testing, implementation, and documentation of payroll processes and related system interfaces impacting payroll and the general ledger. The position heavily supports SAP (HEC) payroll systems and flight-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and document payroll business requirements and process flows

• Perform business systems analysis, functional design, and documentation

• Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, regression testing, and UAT

• Support SAP payroll implementations and enhancements

• Assist with internal controls documentation for audit support

• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders and represent the department in meetings

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 3–5 years of Payroll, Finance, or Accounting experience

• Mandatory SAP Payroll experience (flight payroll required)

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Experience with regression testing, implementation, and/or UAT

Preferred Skills:

• Business systems analysis and process modeling experience

• Project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities

• Experience reading labor agreements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Pay Range: $45 - $50

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
