As a Security Guard - Commercial Site - Afternoon Shift in Phoenix, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more .

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding to any situations as they arise. You will interact with tenants, visitors, and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication at all times. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe and report any unusual conditions or incidents.
• Document observations and activities during patrols and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, tenants, and employees with inquiries and provide directions or support as required.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
