Support Engineering Maintenance Analyst 4

Description:

ENG- Support System Support Engineering activities focused on design for supportability, new support equipment development, Support Equipment Recommendation Data (SERD), facilities planning, Depot Maintenance Plant Equipment (DMPE), and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) management. Serve as an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) representative within aircraft design Integrated Product Teams to identify impacts to existing Support and Test Equipment and recommend mitigation strategies. This is a non-managerial, non-leadership role requiring sustainment engineering experience, Army aviation background, and collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams.

#Education & Job Requirements
*Bachelor’s degree and typically 9 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
*A minimum of 5 years of experience in Army aviation.
*Proficient in one or more aspects of sustainment engineering.
*Demonstrated fluency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
*Must be a U.S. citizen.

#Preferred Skills
*Experience with legacy or new production military aircraft such as AH-64 or AH-6i.
*Experience with military aircraft sustainment products and services.
*Experience providing technical integration across multiple sustainment engineering teams.
*Experience developing integrated plans and schedules.
*Experience with Earned Value Management.

#Job Duties & Functions
*Serve as an Integrated Logistics Support representative within aircraft design Integrated Product Teams.
*Identify, document, and resolve impacts to existing Support and Test Equipment including reusable containers, Peculiar Ground Support Equipment, Common Ground Support Equipment, transportability equipment, and test equipment.
*Identify design modifications requiring new or altered Support and Test Equipment and collaborate with design teams to mitigate impacts or document recommendations.
*Ensure compliance with System Performance Specification requirements related to Support Equipment design changes resulting from aircraft configuration upgrades.
*Research, document findings, and provide technical information to support development and maintenance of support products, engineering data, and integrated support infrastructure.
*Support design for supportability initiatives.
*Support new support equipment development efforts.
*Analyze and document Support Equipment Recommendation Data.
*Support facilities planning activities related to maintenance and support equipment.
*Oversee management and optimization of Depot Maintenance Plant Equipment.
*Evaluate and manage Ground Support Equipment candidate lists to align with operational requirements.
*Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
