Legal Biller
Legal Biller | Phoenix, AZ
This hybrid position, based in Phoenix, supports a busy and growing law firm. It is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal biller who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, timely billing while collaborating with attorneys and staff.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare, review, edit, and finalize monthly client invoices
• Process electronic billing through client e-billing portals and ensure compliance with billing guidelines
• Review attorney time entries and expenses for accuracy and completeness
• Coordinate with attorneys regarding billing edits, write-offs, and billing deadlines
• Monitor accounts receivable and assist with collections and payment follow-up as needed
• Resolve billing inquiries and maintain accurate billing records and reports
• Support month-end billing processes and other accounting functions as assigned
Qualifications
• 3+ years of legal billing experience in a law firm preferred
• Experience with electronic billing (LEDES and e-billing platforms) and client billing guidelines
• Proficiency with legal billing software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach
