This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary, academic environment involving medical students, residents, fellows who are committed to excellence in patient care.** **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform histories and physicals, develop differential diagnoses and treatment plans, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications + Provide comprehensive care to hospitalized adult patients in collaboration with physicians, residents, nurses, and other members of the care team + Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects + Maintain documentation in accordance with institutional policies and regulatory standards + Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, discharge planning, and coordination of care **Opportunity Detail:** + 313-hour shifts/week, 6 pm-7am + Comprehensive medical, dental, vision and pharmacy plans + 401K Plan with 4% match after one year + CME days plus allowance + Paid malpractice **Requirements:** + Acute Care Nurse Practitioner + Acute Care, Cardiology, GIand/or Inpatient experience is highly desirable + Current State of Arizona license or in process + DEA with prescriptive authority required + Open to New Graduates with Related Experience + Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS **Banner Health and University of Arizona Health Network have come together to form Banner University Medicine** , a health system anchored in Phoenix and Tucson that makes the highest level of care accessible to Arizona residents.
