Devops engineer

CTG is seeking to fill a DevOps Engineer position for our client in Phoenix, AZ.

Duration: 12 months

Duties:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and other tools.

• Administer GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES) including upgrades, disaster recovery, replication, and internal service optimization.

• Automate workflows and integrate APIs using scripting languages (Python, Java) and GitHub REST/GraphQL APIs.

• Manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud environments (GH Cloud, GCP).

• Apply DevOps security best practices across CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.

Skills:

• Git (GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket, SVN) and CI/CD expertise

• Kubernetes and Docker containerization

• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Java, Terraform, Ansible)

• GHES administration including self-hosted runners and microservices architecture

• Cloud expertise (GH Cloud, GCP) and DevOps security practices

Experience:

• 7+ years in GHES administration with deep expertise in GitHub Actions, self-hosted runners, and microservices architecture.

• Proven experience in scripting, API integration, automation, and cloud/container management.

• Hands-on experience in upgrade planning, disaster recovery, replication, and service optimization.

Education:

• Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
