As a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant at American Premier Home Health, your daily responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at providing exceptional patient care. You will assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, ensuring each patient receives personalized attention. Your role will involve conducting therapeutic exercises, restoring mobility, and engaging patients in activities that promote recovery. You'll monitor patient progress, document treatment sessions, and report any changes in condition to the supervising therapist.

Communication will be key, as you'll collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, caregivers, and family members to foster a supportive environment. • An Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program, along with an active state licensure or certification, is fundamental.
• Ideally, candidates should have 1-2 years of experience, preferably in a home health or outpatient care setting.
• Clinical skills are essential; you should be proficient in delivering hands-on therapy under supervision and have a solid grasp of evidence-based techniques.
• Building trust with patients and families is critical for providing compassionate support and empowering patients to reach their therapy goals.

• Strong time management skills will enable you to efficiently balance a dynamic caseload while adhering to documentation requirements.
